Lifeguard Fluid 8
ZF Lifeguard Fluid 8 ATF is the OEM transmission oil for almost all ZF 8HP automatic transmissions and for some ZF 6HP automatic transmissions.
This high-performance transmission oil ensures increased driving comfort through smoother gear changes while reducing fuel consumption at the same time. ZF Lifeguard Fluid 8 is coloured green.
An oil change is generally only necessary for repairs. ZF automatic transmissions are always filled with service life oil. However, due to the many factors influencing the service life of transmissions in individual operation, ZF recommends an oil change for its transmissions after 150,000 km. Under operating conditions with high temperatures and loads, or with unknown vehicle use in the past, it may also be advisable to change the transmission oil at shorter intervals.
