Thor sheet metal hammers is available in two different versions: pear-shaped and cylindrical.
The hammers are used to coarsely advance a form, which is then further processed in the English wheel. The material should be stretched as little as possible. Therefore the head must be firm and heavy, but softer than steel. The heads are therefore made of highly compressed plastic. This molecularly highly compressed polyethylene material is break-proof, highly abrasion-resistant, shatterproof and resistant to most chemicals. Even at low temperatures, the plastic does not become brittle.
