This heavy duty universal joint is manufactured for us in small series by the specialist Uni-Cardan and has 2.5 mm needles as a unique selling point. The effect of the stronger needle is the same as the larger wheelbarrow wheel in the wet meadow - more rollers, more favourable roller pressure.
