If the screw head or nut no longer has any flanks, you can use these special sockets. The aggressive spiral-groove profile grips the head and cuts into the damaged nut or screw.
They are operated using a 3/8" ratchet. The external hexagon allows for additional operation with a spanner.
Suitable for right-hand threads with wrench sizes from 9 mm to 19 mm (corresponding to 3/8" to 3/4").
