Special stainless steel locking wire.

Wire retainers are used where self-locking nuts are not possible (heat) or not sufficiently secure: Exhaust manifolds, oil pans or bolts in the engine.
The screw head is drilled through and then two screw connections are always secured against each other. This prevents the bolts from coming loose, even with vibrations of any frequency.
