This kit can be fitted to the Defender and is also suitable for the Series II, IIA and III models. Please note that for vehicles prior to 1994 (VIN...MA939976) the later type harness connections will be required, as follows:

Also, with some earlier cars, due to differing wiring set ups and resistance values, the dash indicator warning lamp bulb may need to be removed to enable correct operation of the indicators/hazard flashers.
