This door can also be used for earlier models with so-called 'pull handle' doors, but then the area of the outer door handle must be modified. Furthermore, other brackets for the window regulator have to be welded in, as they sit at a different angle in the door. Alternatively, the window regulator of the models from 1968 onwards can be used together with the corresponding window winder handle.
In the end, it is a considerable effort to convert the door. We therefore recommend saving the old door and only replacing the door skin. In this case, 'only' the area of the outer door handle would have to be modified.
