Often GRP bonnets and boot lids are the only available alternative to the original because of the lower tooling costs. However, GRP body parts primarily have a number of advantages. The material and the finished part are usually lighter than the original. Individual adaptations to the shape are usually easier to implement. And most importantly, the body parts do not rust.
We recommend that the components are painted on the inside in order to guarantee a rich colour shine. Due to structural design, GRP components must be adapted to the installation situation on site.
