In this hose clip version, a spring insert is attached to the inside of the band. The spring insert is pretensioned during tightening, and the spring energy stored as a result of this ensures an automatic re-tensioning effect for an extended period. Even at extreme temperatures, this mechanism still enables a sufficient level of radial clamping force to be achieved.
