Please note that the pistons of the air-cooled Fiat engines have 2 mm piston axis offset. The piston pin is not in the centre, but 2 mm off the centre axis. The connecting rod is therefore facing away from the camshaft side.
Please refer to the instructions in the workshop manual. Incorrectly mounted pistons lead to reduced performance and rapid wear!
