parabolic type springs for rear suspension. Supplied in pairs
When travelling over small bumps in the road, the force required to flex a conventional multi-leaf spring is high, so the spring remains rigid and the bump shock is transmitted inside the car.
A parabolic spring has a taper rolled into it, thickest in the centre tapering proportionately to the end offering precise stress distribution throughout its length.
Hence the ride comfort is greatly improved combined with enhanced handling from increased tyre to road contact.
Please note: Parabolic springs should be fitted in conjunction with telescopic rear dampers.
