This MGB rear brake conversion kit has been developed to deliver the ultimate in stopping power with greatly reduced maintenance. These 8" rear disc conversions allow optimum brake bias set up. Wheel lock up under heavy braking is virtually eliminated. Large brake rotors and bespoke billet alloy calipers allow rapid heat displacement reducing brake fade during continued heavy usage. If you want to stop, it doesn't happen much faster than this.
In comparison to standard drums, our kit reduces the unsprung weight by almost 5 kg!
This motorsport orientated caliper utilises an in-built spot pad handbrake system, which is predominantly designed to be as light as possible. It is therefore not suited to autocross and other use cases where a strong handbrake is required.
Please note: This kit is suitable for both 14" and 15" bolt-on wheels but not suitable for V8's with original factory V8 wheels.
