Galvanising is a process used to protect metals from corrosion by applying a zinc coating. It is characterized by excellent corrosion resistance and high thermal durability. Electro galvanising (also known as electro plating) is an electrochemical process in which zinc is applied to the metal in an electrolyte bath using electric current. This results in a thinner zinc layer and does not form an alloy with the base material.
We recommend after-treatment with cavity protection wax.
