The AC fuel pumps supplied by Land Rover are very rugged reliable units that very seldom have problems. If a problem occurs they can be quickly gone through while still on the motor with a rebuild kit.
If you are re?lling fuel from Jerry cans, you may pick up enough particulates to ?ll the sediment bowl or clog the ?lter. The rubber sediment bowl gasket hardens over time and will never reseal once hardened. Always bring a new spare ?lter screen and sediment bowl gasket any time you go on a trip where you may encounter dirty or contaminated fuel. They are inexpensive, take almost no space and you will be in a world of hurt without one if you need to clean the sediment bowl.
Please note: warranty is void when using with E10 or any other type of racing / special fuel.
